Computer Components

The computer comprises five main components:

1. Input Devices
2. CPU
3. Output Devices
4. Primary Memory
5. Secondary Memory

Input:
Inputting involves entering raw data, instructions, and information into the computer via input devices.

Storage:
Data and instructions are stored in primary memory and secondary storage before being processed by the CPU. They are stored before processing and again after processing, ready for output.

Processing:
The CPU converts raw data into useful information by retrieving it from storage, processing it, and then returning the processed data to storage.

Output:
Processed data is presented through output devices such as monitors, printers, and speakers.

Control:
The control unit, part of the CPU, ensures the execution of all basic operations in the correct sequence.
